The Avenue

Walk along the main street

Kungsportsavenyn, more familiarly known as "Avenyn", extends for 1km in a straight line from Kungsportsplatsen, to the north, to Götaplatsen. This tree-lined avenue teeming with bars, cafés, restaurants and night clubs is Gothenburg's very own Champs-Élysées.

With your Gothia Card you have free travel with the public transportation system in Gothenburg. But you can easily walk around or take a boat, ferry, electric scooter or taxi to discover great new places.
